Has anyone figured out how to do half blind dove tails or straight dove tails cuts with thier machine?

Not yet that I have seen here, I think it is because of the taper on them You may be able to do box joints however.

It's really the wrong application for this machine.

Even if the machine could do them it would be painfully slow. A router, bit and dovetail jig are really the answer. Fast, accurate and I picked up a nice jig set up from Harbor Freight years ago for about 50 bucks. Works great.

I'm with Chris on this one. It would be slow. Additionally, I don't believe that "traditional" dovetails would even be possible considering the machine would take several passes to achieve the depth, thus never cutting a proper tail. I think it would be possible to do the pins. But woulding that be like the cart pulling the horse?

If you look at a dovetail you'll see that the profile wouldn't work on the CC
