I am awaiting a new carving bit so while I am waiting I decided to attempt to square the board. I put a piece in, then the machine tells me to load the board. Okay, the board is too small. I load a long one and again I get the message to load the board. What am I doing wrong???

Never mind!!! I don't think that I am understanding the board length. What is the smallest board I can use or is it that no matter what, the board must be 7" longer than the project?

The board that I was working with is 8.5", so I don't understand why it does not read the board.

You may have a roller Switch problem. Check to see if your rollers compress and uncompress.
