This is a sign I just finished for my brother in law. His favorite things in life are the Chicago Cubs (it's his affliction) and the "white buffalo" from American Indian tradition. I decided to make him a sign including them both. It's in red oak, with a mahogany flame stain, and then acrylic paints. I did a little color "blend" on the cubs logo to give it some punch and highlight..so that isn't from the flash, it's intentional. The beauty of this machine is I designed this in about 15 minutes, and after the hour and twenty minute carve it took another couple hours to stain and paint...Thank you LHR!

BTW: The image makes the lower right dark blue edge of the sign look like it gets thin to the left, but I just checked and it's the same width on both sides...I must have taken the shot from a ****-eyed angle.

As a die-hard Cardinals fan, morally I cannot compliment a creation bearing that logo.

However, in this case I will make an exception. :p Good job!

Great looking sign. That blue you used really shines. I bet it looks even better in person.

Being a die-hard Astros fan, I will have to concur with your first statement. However, I won't make an exception unless he tapes over that logo and takes another pic! haha

Actually I prefer watching PROFESSIONAL Football. :-D lol!

Now now, the Lions ARE a professional football team. However, they are simply a B squad for all the other teams to get an easy victory from!

It's OK....... Cowboys will be back this year and show all you guys who's who. Just need a place to practice now!.....

Indeed the Cowgirls will be back! :p

However, just because the league decided to let them come back for another season, doesn't mean they will be significant! It seems their practice facility was built like their roster...very poorly! haha I kid I kid

The thing about cubs fans is that they talk to each other....once I did that sign, several of my neighbors found out..and then next thing you know....
