Someone was looking for an oval spiral cribbage template. Here's a quick pass at one, no guarantees it's correct or useful yet.

Slightly more complete project. Though, I still don't like the hole spacing around the final turn.

That's a great mpc., Bill. As I know nothing about cribbage boards ,what size are the holes and what bit is used and how deep are they? The bit doesn't show up as highlighted in designer.

later Daniel

DAH!!!! My mistake . I was looking at the router bit icon instead of the drill icon, sorry guys.

The holes on this board are 1/8" in diameter and 1/2" deep, cut with the 1/8" cutting bit.

Pegs are available in many diameters and lengths, so there isn't a single standard size.

hi Dan,
Pegs are available in many diameters and lengths but the most common are the tapered pegs because they fit a verity of holes
this mpc was originally made by jlitz all I did was correct the holes in the last turn. I have attached two pics. of pegs that I use.

I usually make my holes .125 in diameter and .380 deep There are many web sites for Cribbage boards and pegs but here is a url for different pegs.

Here's the final version of the board. I made a few more minor changes to the hole spacing / alignment.
