Recently I tried to carve a clock on a 11.5" board. I was well within the board size, but it appears that the depth of the carving was lighter on the bottom of the image than the top. I tried several projects and I got the same results.

I emailed tech support...no repsonse, so I am wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. I checked my manual and could not find an adjustment to inrease the depth from top to bottom.

Any ideas?

Without seeing the MPC for what you were trying to carve it is hard to say. If by 'carving lighter' you mean that one end if board is deeper than the other, it could be that the head (part that cranks up/down) is not level.

How long was the board? Could the board be flipping UP due to being too short and not using 3.5 inches longer board to stay under the rollers. With 191 posts I would say most likely not but I had to ask.

Bit loose in holder will cause this too.....

Z going bad.... New Z Bundle? If not you should ask for it before the warranty runs out.

Sawdust in the Z Belt.....

In Feed / Out Feed tables not adjusted properly....
