Even though this new forum software is great, every once-in-a-while a spammer will get through. Typically they are caught very quickly and you folks will never have to see them pollute the forum.
If you see a post that looks like spam look in the rad bar at the top of that post and you will see an icon that looks like a yield sign with a vertical line in it. That is the 'Report Post' button. If you click that button you can send an email to all the moderators. Which ever once of us sees the email first will investigate and take appropriate action.
It is not necessary to make another post of your own after the offending post commenting about it. While the comments do not hurt anything, the original spam and any comments about it will be removed. (So we are not left with several comments about a spam post that no longer exists.)
