Direct From Autocad...

Was kinda playing around this morning and found that i could get this directly from autocad into the desinger software, there is no clean up on the pic just some smoothing.
just if i could remember how to do it.

What you did with AutoCAD is fine if you only want lines on the surface of your wood.

If you want to create an image to be raised in a region then you would need to remove the background from the outside edges of the image.

I create a BMP file from AutoCAD the bring it into my graphic editor, erase the background and save as a PNG file.

PNG and GIF formats are the only two formats that you can use and maintain a transparent background.
