Thanks Ken. It took me longer to clean up the pattern than it did for LHR to fix my machine. I need a lot of practice at it.

Yep, I'm still looking for the magic bullet for cleaning up detail.

Nice clock Lolyd, I know what you mean about cleaning up that detail. Those two IH head clock were terrible in the mahogany. Seems like everytime I got it cleaned up without sanding to much of the detail away those fibers popped right back up again between stainings.

I used some of those fine pads, watch maker file and finger nail boards cut to different angles for the fine groves and slots.

Yep, I'm still looking for the magic bullet for cleaning up detail.

I use the cordless Dremel tool for clean up and it works great. I have an assortment of bits that I use to clean up anything I do. I also use the 3M wheels on the Dremel tool to remove fuzzies.
