How's this sound: You're anticipating getting your first carvewright delivered. You go to sears to check out some odds & ends and end walking out with a $110.00 adjustable worktable. You then go to Lowe's and buy
a 4' X 2' piece of 1/2 inch plywood and spend the rest of the afternoon sanding it and waxing it after you've mounted it to the worktable. . . .

every time the machine stops you fine yourself holding your breath and praying,
that the LED display is reading.

You call in sick to work because you have a flexshaft problem and you have to talk to a specialist at LHR. ;)

19.) When another carvewright owner talks about lubing his flexshaft, others smile and giggle while you nod knowingly with a stern face.

When you look at any thing 12" to 18" away your head wants to move from left to right to left to right to left to right to left...

20. Yard Sale...Garage Sale....Rumaage Sale and Auction take on a whole new meaning cause you now have the "Probe" and are always on the look out for items to scan.

21. Lowes and Home Depot know you by name and know that you will in their "pine" aisle for an hour or so moving all their boards trying to find a few without a ton of knots and generally some nice young man will show up to help calling you by name...lol

22. Everywhere you look, you see a possible carving pattern....this happened to me yesterday when we took 3 of our grandkids to the local hands-on children's museum. I got a camera full of pattern possibilities......we'll see what comes out of it.

You cant understand why your wife, sister, friend, cousin, etc isnt just ga-ga, or just not ga-ga enough, over that third sign (with the cutesy saying you made them) to hang in their shop, house, office.

You spend as much or more time typing in this forum as you do carving to help others to a point where they can think of more of these.

If more then 80 percent of the reading material, you’ve read over the past several months,
contain abbreviations like CW, CC, QCC, CCM, and cc or axis error, plus several others,
and you know what they mean. http://www.carvewright.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif
