This happed to me when trying to draw a circle. An email to carvewright came back with a known problem but there is a solution. Go into the progran without opening a project and go to edit then select preferences and increase the cauch to 256 and turn the hardware accel that is under 3D setting to off and that should fix it providing you have the latest version of the software whicj is 1.126

Has anyone run into this problem that when you are carving letters into the wook you will get ramdom what looks like periods in the carving. This doesn't happen on all the letters and seems to be ramdom. I called Cravewright and the person said it was in my design but I checked and you gressed it--- it wasn't. Any suggestions

The Font you choose is important. Some don't work.

Changing the letter spacing to anything but 0 causes problems sometimes.

If your Z did not touch the bit plate properly the z could be high and give you dots...
