This project came out as good as I could expect. I've attached the mpc, you're welcome to use it.

I designed and carved this one before I had my pattern editor installed, so the project came out with the stair-stepping on the oval as shown on the mpc. A little sanding, and the steps cleaned up. After installing the editor, it cleaned up those flaws just fine in designer.

Great design love the darker color on it, also looks like you learned a lot from the last tutorial.

I agree with the color, very rich looking. I usually don't like the darker stains but that looks great. Love the design also.

That's raw walnut - nothing on it of any kind.

Looks great I like oil on walnut brings out the dark tones.
A question for all what color is walnut?
most people don't know.

Looks great and the wood choice was right on the money a very pretty sign.

the true color is purple. you can see by first post with no stain or oil. this is eazy to see if someone points it out but our mind tricks us because we know its " dark brown "

I used to sell walnut cabinets for kitchens and storage units. I had to have people sign a paper they understood that unless the paid a premium for choice dark wood, their cabinets could come in with mixed blonde and dark woods. Personally I liked the lighter and darker brains. But some wanted only the solid dark wood used.

That is a very nicely designed sign. You've come a long way in a short time. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
