View Full Version : Roller Supports ... Cheap
Need some inexpensive roller supports ... check out your local thrift shop for rolling pins, and do the rest yourself. Attached is my $1 rolling pin adapted using some galvanized brackets left over from a garage door installation. Assembly amounted to pulling off one handle, so I could thread the shank through the brackets, and then gluing the brackets to some scrap plywood.

I'd imagine with any weight they'd not turn anywhere near as easily as a $6 roller with ball bearings. Don't strip a gear.:D

Really good ideal Ray and most rolling pins do have bearings inside the handles. At least the one we have at home does.
