Day 3 of ownership of my used CC, I go down to my shop, flip the CC power switch, and nothing on the display. Did I panic ... NO. Did I swear ... NO.
I calmly checked my breaker box, O.K. I checked the receptacle for power, O.K. I checked the CC for a reset button, couldn't find one. I remembered reading in this Forum about removing the bottom plate, so I thought I would try that. The attached photo shows what I found.
I guess it is not too surprising that something worked loose traveling coast to coast (from NY to WA) on UPS trucks. What is somewhat surprising is that the power switch wire apparently came off between carving projects. Anyway, all is well now.
The moral here is when something goes wrong ... Don't panic (immediately, anyway).
