The wife put on the final coat of Tung Oil yesterday but still has to rub it out a little. I got all the coins centered tonight and am about ready to fasten them on. Heres a shot of the clock with the hands on, coins in place and the oil applied.

I thought of using a clear silicone to fasten the coins on. I am afraid glue will dry up, get brittle after a few years and the coins will pop loose. I did drill a small hole behind each coin to expose some raw wood for the glue.

Any suggestion what might be better for applying the coins? I plan on doing it tomorrow afternoon and snapping a few shots of it finished in the sun light. I Need to get this sent off Saturday before I change my mind and keep it myself after its complete.

Nice clock, for your coins you can use some" Stick Fast" I make knives and I use this Adhesive for the handles and inserts for my knives you can find it here eknifesupply.com or Ebay .

Perhaps use an epoxy putty? That stuff is like steel after it dries.
