Just had this error this morning while trying to do an edge route on 1/2" thick board.
It went thru the normal routine of checking the width, touching the bit plate etc. and then returned to the front and stopped with the "bit selection fault". I do not remember the # it gave me. I was going to use the 3/8 ogee bit.
Did a search for this and did not find any solutions.
I took the 1/2 out and put in 3/4 and did not get the error. Is this something to do with the 1/2 board?
