sensor 249

i have cleanned my board sensor and and checked its reading its at 249 and doesnt change I get a clear board sensor error message after it askes if it wants me to stay under roller tried many types of wood and they all read 249 and without a board it reads 249

249? Raise the head all the way up and check the sensor reading again. It should be zero, if not you have a bad sensor.

thanks jeff i tried your suggestion still read 249 called tech support tech said pinched wire send it in (the whole machine) maybe april ill get to use my birthday present . My machine is 10 days old and been down for 8 days now

Someone said the other day that they have an improved guide for those wires. Hopefully that will prevent the shorting problem.
