I just found this article very interesting site regarding wood cutting boards and it's health hazards. Its only one page long and worth reading the whole thing.

If you are making products that will come into contact food. I think you should read the attached link. Even if you have been using older wood or plastic utensils and cutting surfaces you should read this article.

Thanks for the Heads-up I have been trying to convince my wife that the antique cutting board that she uses (was her grandmas) is just a little gross.

This should help me retire it, maybe I'll carve gmas name in it and hang it on the wall, after I bleach it.
