Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. After trashing another x drive idler gear I decided to investigate more throughly this time.
Seems the pin that supports the gear in the drive mount assembly has decided to take a hike. I pulled it off the bracket with the massive force of my bare hands ( impressive isn't it). The gear was wobbling quite badly before I did this.:o
It appears as though when it was peened over something didn't go right when it was assembled.
It's not that expensive, (I'm about two months out of warranty) though a bit of a hassle as I have a few jobs that were supposed to be finished and out of here by monday.
