Sorry, I can't find the answer to this in the threads/posts.

There are many mpc's members have placed in the depot to share- is there a way to make those ptn's in the CW software so they can be added to the pattern favorites?

Seems I read how somewhere, but I can't find the answer.

If I understand you correctly, you want to turn MPC (or project files) into PTN (or pattern files)? Nope, can't do that. And as far as I know, you can't pull a pattern off a project and add it to you pattern list either.

But if you see an element in the cut list of a posted mpc file that you have opened,
that you would like to use in one of your own projects,
you can do a copy -- paste to your mpc file while it's open in Designer
or store it on a blank project as an mpc file until you need it.

Although I normally ask permission first
