Good morning

I just replaced a X axs sand paper belt drive gear and something is still not right. The X axis seems to move more in one direction than the other. When I had the machine apart I was carefull to clean and then lubed the gears with the proper lithium lubricant. Has anyone seen this, or have any advice?

By the way, where can I find the procedure for removing the sand paper belts? I would like to clean the rollers in case they are not rolling freely.

Happy carving.
Mike

Hi Mike,

See if this one helps you out.

The back and forth is the computer sensing a jam and working it back and forth. Sound like you need to remove and clean the gears and look for a missing tooth.

Thanks, that helped a lot. My vice was just big enough.
