cant activate software

I just recieved my compucarve today, been trying to activate software

It says to enter activation ID or serial # I enter the activation # and is comes back unknown Serial # or activation code
It shows the proper serial # and it says your license, you have not registered any computers yet, please enter your computers activation code above.
When i enter it it takes me back to the same message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I contacted LHR's technical support, they instructed me to download the trial version of the software from their website and activate that version. They told me I had an outdated version of the software on CD. (I actually had 1.113 on the CD, and we're up to 1.126 to date.)

When I activated the downloaded version, it didn't ask me for the activation code at all.

fyi... The first time you upload something to the flash card to be used by the unit, you will have to upgrade the firmware. But don't worry, the upload process will prompt you to do this.
