I know this works on circles, sq., rect.,well. My question is , is there a way to use cut path on an carve object that is not one of the standards.
I have scaned a object and would like to cut it out after I carved it. How can this be done?
do you have to create a cut path yourself ?

What your looking for is called 'Outline Patterns(s)'. Right click on a pattern or group of patterns and choose 'Outline Pattern(s)'. It will draw a path around the 'edges' it sees in your pattern(s). You may need to delete the paths you do not want.

When you did the outline and cut path did you designate any depth? If you did that might be why you have no tabs.

[I] wan't sure I was to set a depth, so I set it at .760

You won't see the tabs anywhere in Designer. If you just do a cut path, it will leave tabs.

You do not give it any depth. Designer know how deep by your board settings and when the CW does the board check prior to carving....
