This is an MPC another forum user submitted I's like to use in another layout, but it is always constrained to the center lines. It can be copy and pasted, but when copied in the other layout it locks itself in on the center lines.

Thanks for any help.

gtj44,

I just tried a copy and paste to another project board,
and it moves around fine for me, after I clicked on the center both option to release it.

try the mpc I just posted --- and see if it works for you

This is really strange. I can copy and paste the one you just sent, but when I open my original USMC it is locked in place in the original and when copied. I can use yours now so I can get on with my piece. Thanks mucho.

gtj44,

What Ken tried to tell you is this.

1. Select the object (emblem or circle or both)
2. Go to Layout (dropdown) and select Center.
3. Then select Both to release the centering for both Horizontal and Vertical.

The point here is that you can select either Horizontal or Vertical or Both to lock in centering for what you selected. Once they are centered they will remain locked until you select them again to release the lock.

Hope this helps. Give it a try.

Regards,

Ken

Thanks to both Kens. I tried that, at least I thought I did. I was probably tired from spending all day Friday (12 hrs) at Detroit airport due to snow and ice preventing landing at Buffalo. Tried it again this morning and it worked easily. I feel kinda dumb it was so easy.
