Scaling

I put in a board, I let it measure it, it says 20.67 x 5.50. I go into the software I create a new project of that size. I upload it, put it on the machine. I start to carve. It says Size: 13.67 / 20.67. Scale to Fit or option 2 is Insert New Board. So all I can do is scale it. Why ?

Hey

Are you selecting stay under rollers? If so then The board you put in the machine has to be 7" longer than the board length that you put in designer.
