designer software 1.126

Hi I just downloaded 1.126 and now can't import a jpeg file into the program.
1.125 was fine in this regard does anybody else have this problem?
running Apple Imac 24" OSX10.?

Just tried it in Windows and it works OK. Might be a Apple quark.

I just tried it with no problem. Computer problem ( repair permissions?) or maybe reload Designer.

Or, maybe your JPG was currupt or too large?

I tried a smaller file and it still crashes.I went back in time with my time machine and got the 1.125 software out of the backups and restored it to my disk.I again preformed the same routine and it crashed again with 1.125.
which is odd because it was working before.
I just installed Photoshop CS3 I wouldn't think that would be the problem.

Well, your problem is not Designer/Mac related. I suspect you need to fix your OS. Did you repair permissions? Do you have DiskWarrior to repair the rest of the file structure?

I haven't tried to repair permissions -- I'll try that -- see what happens

Thanks for your input -- I fixed the problem --
I did everything I could -repair permissions, repair disk,maintenance -- And it still wouldn't work.
so I finally erased my favorites file. and it let me save to a new favorites file.I think when I made the change from the G5 powermac to the intel core duo,
this file was unreadable.At anyrate I'm back in bussiness.Now to do maintenance on the machine.......
