I was going to perform a cross cut on 5/8" MDF using a project. The project is sized to exactly the length and width of the actual piece of MDF. I wanted to have a precise cut using the CW and this would ultimately become a sled. I haven't had good luck using the built-in cutting features, especially the rip cut so I want to cross cutting using a project.
Question, I thought a cross cut the width of the board would be OK since (I think) the rollers would not be in use during the cutting. Only the truck and cutting bit would be engaged once the rollers position the MDF for the cross cut. However I received a message, see attached.. Do you see any issues with this cut? What would you do?
Anyone know the answer to this question?
