Catching Up

I finally had a chance to put some color on a pattern that I bought from a fellow forum member last year.
The wood is Western Red Cedar and the stain is water based Black Cherry.
It also has coat of water based Clear Gloss Polyurethane.
A little touch up sanding and a few more coats of poly and it will be done.
This one is really just a test run, the ones we’ll be giving as gifts this coming Easter,
will be Heart Wood Cherry, and should carve and finish up nice.

I did 2 and cut them out for grandson and his youth leader. I did want to comment on your catching up. Be careful lol By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kalhua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.
