Unable to move lines

Any idea why I can't move these lines to the right?

Zeke, you need to remove the attachments on the end the 2.0 to center.

Here it is without the attachments. Right mouse click the 2.0 and remove attachments, then you can move it to the right. If you want it on both sides right click and mirror.

Thanks CMDR, the first part works like clockwork! I didn't see the mirror option if you mean that I could have the mearurement on both sides, that sure would be handy! Another question about these lines, can I somehow group them so they are locked together so that when I drag one line the other three go with it or if I lengthen one the other three are sized along with it?

You should see a yellow dotted box with yellow arrowheads on the corners.

If you place your cursor between the lines the whole box will move.
