The January News letter list the CC on sale for $1620 and as low as $1440 if you purchase two other items at the same time. The sale is good through Jan. 12. Not sure but I suspect the other items could be bits and/or bit set. Looks like a great deal.

If you're not a member you could probably sign up and get the deal.

That 1440 deal is probably if you buy 3 power tools.

You could be right Dan; however in Nov. Sears had a 10%, 15%, 20% deal and I got the bit set and one each of the cutting bit and the carving bit all for 20% off. Maybe worth a try.

When Sears had this same deal several months ago you could buy two other tools of about any kind (didn't need to be power tools). Somebody in the forum indicated they bought an two extra bits and got the lower price on the CC.

I got the compucarve, the probe, and some bits today, i just pay $1854 tax in. Of course in Sears.

I got mine for $1450.07 at Sears just before Christmas. That is with Atlanta, GA sales tax. I got it on sale for $1,699.00 plus a 15% on line discount sale, plus a 10% discount for applying for the Sears card, plus no payments for 12 months. :)

Any more off and it would have cost less than a good table saw. :D
