Well she’s home, My CC Machine arrived back from LHR this after noon.
It’s not my original box, but actually this one’s in much better shape then my old one.
So far the machine looks in top notch conduction.
I set it up to run a couple test projects in the morning to see and hear how well it carves. (Fingers Crossed) http://forum.carvewright.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
I see the jack for the scanning probe is missing from the carving head on the “Z” Truck, along with the old Homing Sensor,
it looks a little odd after seeing them there for over a year.

I did check the machine over for any loose screws or nuts and bolts,
I also checked to see if the Flex-Shaft needed to be lubed,
it appears fine, but to be on the safe side, I’ll monitor it extra closely for a few carvings
with my infrared thermometer just to make sure.

Test runs are done, and all’s well.
The test runs were a few mazes, 2 and 3 hour carves with different bits.
The first maze used a marble in the groove “not really very challenging.”
The others use 3/8” steel ball bearings between the top edges of the grooves,
and requires some hand-eye coordination and patients.
So now it’s time to get back to work, and start making a dent in my back log. http://www.carvewright.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif
