Well, folks, I made my first scan and it turned out, well, OK, but not as good as I wanted. (see scan below). Is there a way to turn on the BEST instead of normal? When I started the scan, it didn't ask me if I wanted "Draft, Normal or Best". Can someone tell me how to do a scan in Best?
It would help a lot.
Thanks,
John Hammett

John, There's a quality setting that you will have to set each time for best...the machine automatically defaults to normal. I'm putting in the link to the little video that Michael did up for how to use the probe. It covers the quality setting plus the max depth setting and more.

Yep, I watched the video and it solved all my problems. Now, that is what I'm talking about. The scan went great and it really improved the detail of the cow. I'm ready to scan in everything that would crave in 3D.. Well, back to the shop.. Thanks for the info..
