Removing Coating From Bits

I just received the carving bit set from Carvewright and would like to know how to remove the coating from the bits.

I'm still a newbie. But, I just pealed the coating off the bits. Left the coating on bits I haven't used yet. It's what I've done in the past with my router table.

It should be just wax so peeling it off is fine.

It is just wax and it comes off when you start your first carving with no adverse effects.
