Search function borked?

I want to search on how to import .ptn files into my Project Designer, so I type in the search box "import .ptn files", and then "how to import ptn files", and get this response:

The search term you specified (how) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.

your individual search words have to be at least 4 characters long. Yes, it's lame, but that's how it works. You could also try including quotes in your search, such as "ptn files". Also, be prepared to read posts that have topics that seem to have nothing to do with your search parameters. This forum, more than most, seems to have alot of topic hijacking, or more accurately put, topic sprawl.

The info is in here, you just have to coax it out sometimes.
