I'm not sure how you could claim restraint of trade since LHR and you never entered any contractual agreement that allowed editing of ptn files, unless you purchase the scanning probe. To take it a step further, even IF your were granted that authority to edit ptn's, and can no longer edit them is not a contractual restriction, only a software restrition.

If you are creating your own ptns, you should be saving the original artwork/working file anyway.
