I now have a problem with my crank handle not letting me do the "five "cranks for final set on project. And I'm getting a clear board sensor as well. Everything was working fine and then !!!!!!!!. I have searched various threads trying to find this problem, but have not been sucessful. HELP
Thanks
Don

Hello Don,

Sorry to hear that.

By any chance is your shop below 60 degrees? Sometimes that prevents the crank from working properly if the environment is below the minimum recommended operating temperature.

Like mtylerfl just said the temperature this time of year can cause problems with the machine.
Also if you do a search on the forum key words ( Crank Handle) you'll fine several post like these.

Thank you all for your responses.
I checked out the four posts; the locking handle and the vertical screws. The only thing I did not do is check out the crank handle itself. I'll do that tomorrow AM. I live in Southern Calif. and the weather here is warm and beautiful.
Thanks again
Don

:p:p:p Thanks to all for your help and advise. Today I cleaned the crank handle by removing the side plate and getting at the working parts. Boy, I'm going to know this machine inside and out if this keeps up. I'm back in business happily carving away again.
Thanks again,
Don
