Maybe not new - V1.125

I drew two circles 3.0" dia. Selected a 1/2 Ball Nose for both.

Circle on the right I selected 0.00 offset. The outside of the cut is now 3.5" dia. as expected.

Circle on the left I selected 0.25 offset. The outside of the cut should be 3.0" dia. but it is about 3.25 dia.

Go figure!

According to (this post (http://www.carvewright.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5478&highlight=offset)), the inset/offset is limited to a maximum of .125, which applied to both sides of a circle would be .250, meaning the finished diameter would be 3.25, as you witnessed.

wil only alow the .125 for that bit. if you need to offset the full width of the bit you would make you circle bigger just as easy.
