trouble!!!! Help

I had my Compucarve returned from repair and it was in the scan mode.
I do not have a probe. how do I get back to the main menu/

You just need to update the firmware on your memory card. Typically they include a piece of paper that tell you how to do so.

Open Designer, click Help->Check for updates, and update to Version 1.124. When Designer is done updating insert your memory card in the reader and save a file to it. It will automatically check the firmware level on the card and prompt you to update, do so. When you put the card in your machine you will have to go to the scan menu and tell it that your probe wiring is hooked to the cover (even though you don't have a probe, the wiring goes there now.)
