Can anyone tell me how to carve a dome top for a box? I would like to carve a 9x11 lid with a curve of 0.375 drop from the center of the lid to the edge. I can always use a hand plane to make the shape but I am hoping someone has already found a way to make the machine cut a board to form the dome.

If you draw a rectangle on the board in designer, you should see the icon for Select Surface appear, next to carve region. Click this then click the + next to domes in the pop up window. Designer has many domes already for use.
Good Luck

Just a repeat at a different angle of what forqnc was saying
while using a height something like 999

Thanks for the information, it made me feel stupid I have opened the texture portion many times and never noticed the "Domes" drop down.

Thanks again
