Need help on edge routing

OK, here is the deal.
Machine carves everything out perfect. I get better each day. Although I still have a ton of "Designer Firewood".

When it gets to the edge rout, the bit stays up about 1/2 above the project. Makes all its passes and never touches the board. It see the bit, it touches the bit plate, it homes just fine, or seems to.

Any thoughts, ideas, tricks, or great jokes? :)

Did you set a depth in designer?

Yes, I set the depth. It has worked fine until the last two projects. I have just pulled them out and cut them on the table saw then run them through the shaper.

Would still like to know why it does this. And it seems to be only with the classical ogee and regular ogee's

I'm not sure how to do edges either.
I just got mine and only have the two bits 1/8th cutting and 1/16th carving.
Do you have to have all the bits to do edge work? :confused:
