Question from another post "Besides not being able to share PTN's. Are there any new things in the software? I only read about this a couple of days ago. Good Changes? Bad changes? Or just locking out patterns? Will it lock out the patterns I already have?"

* Fixed bug preventing import of large scans or images This is not the case as far as i can see. my maps look like designer is just lowering the size of the image at the time of inport, why if it is using full res..

* Added ability to set a default stain and finish for new projects Needs work, just change the project dimension size and see..

* Added checks on max carving depth and max cut through for machine protection
CW changed the max depth from 1" to .8" for maps in Desigers tools bar. I think its a good idea, as the carving bit can rub if set at 1" in some setups and the Z truck will get thrashed...

I was able to create a pattern from a 2 MB file after the upgrade and I have not had the designer crash to desktop on me since the upgrade
