Card or card reader error?

Hi all -

I just received my CompuCarve. Doing the initial setup, the machine didn't recognize the memory card. Plugging it into the reader and trying to access it from the software also fails telling me it can't initialize the flash device. I've tried on both a Mac and a Windows machine with the same results. I think it's the card and not the reader, but has anyone else seen this problem?

I would go ahead and get a call in to them trooubleshoot and if needed get it in the mail
