I happened to be at CarveWright the other day when a unit was returned for repair. The box was in terrible shape and it appeared that the contents may have been damaged in shipment. They photograph the box before opening it and then photgraph the packiing and contents.

I was amazed that the unit arrived in good condition as the packing was less than satisfactory. The shipper had used everything but the kitchen sink to pack the unit and I can assure you that the shipper was very lucky that the unit wasn't damaged.

I know that CarveWright is hesitant in bringing up the subject, but everyone should be more careful in how they return the unit for repair. If you don't have adequate packing I would suggest that you call them for new packaging or instructions.

It is very difficult to recover damages from UPS for damaged items if they are not packaged properly.
