edge routing on a curve

Is it possible to edge route on a section of a curve? Say I have a circle and only want to route 1/4 of it.

There is an Arc tool which lets you draw arcs by length and radius

As PsalteryDreams said, use the arc function. Draw your circle, then draw your arc on top where you want it, and select the bit you want for the arc.
