If I save a pattern that has carving on both sides of the board, does the software save both sides are do I need to do each one separately? thanks, Jenny

jenny the memory card saves both sides of the project at one time so you don't have to worry about this. the machine will prompt you to flip the board when it is ready to carve the design on the back of the board. There is no need to do each side seperately.

and i think it carves the back first if that matters.

Reading this that would have been my question on which side first. If you have it set to cutout from the front side, I was hoping it would carve the back first then flip and do the front then do the cuts.
Havent tried it yet but also was curious about this.

Correct, after is has located all the bits for the project, it will ask you to load the Rear of the Board first. Of course it will have to re locate the board again once loaded.
