Which Bit

Is there any way to tell which bit was set up in the inital design? Say I downloaded a MPC from the site, anyway I can see which bit a certain part was assigned by the designer? Or do I have to wait until I get it out to the machine and see what it calls for?

Go to View menu bottom of the list is Carving List. This will show you each piece and you can explore its properties with a right mouse click.

I did that, but it doesn't show me the bit selected for that part of the carving, or at least I don't see it anywhere.

If you highlight a element of the drawing then select bits and scroll down the bit used will be highlighted.
