Hello,
I just joined this forum this morning. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I am an antique restorer who's been lusting a bit after reading all your posts and seeing your galleries. I'm not ready to take the plunge yet but wondered if any of you are in Central NJ and are interested in sub-contract work?

I hope this question is allowed on the forum. I briefly read the terms and don't think I'm violating any rules.

I have a job coming up that may require carving and although I've done my own carvings (by hand) in the past this job may not work for hand carving.

Look forward to hearing from any of you.

Hello walden,
Just wanted to say welcome to the CW forum.

I also restore antiques as part of my work,
I bought my machine nearly a year ago and find it fits in very well with several aspects of our work.
I'm sure someone will be happy to help you out with some machine carving to complement your hand carver projects.

The machine has become an important tool in our restoration projects.
