I found an old copper wire suede brush in the barn and decided to use it for cleaning up carvings one day and found it works very well ,so well I just had to order some more because I used it to death.. Just thought I would let people know and thank everyone for there posts and help. Here is the link to the suede brush I just ordered the other day (had a rough time finding a wire one)I have already got them and used it and they work just as good as the one I found in the barn..

You need to be a little careful on soft wood and delicate carvings that chip easily. I have been using it on pine with no problems though..
