I'm currently trying to make a few jewelry boxes for the ladies in my family. looked at the one on the carvewright website and didn't like it too well. anyone got any patterns or images i could use? I got a case of designer's block. can't seem to come up with anything new.:-(

I've looked for some that could be laid out on one piece of wood but have been unsuccessful. You might search Google for 'free jewelry box plan' or 'free jewelry box pattern'. Once you find the basic plans, you could add any pattern to the sides or top.

Hope this helps.

You might look at scroll saw books at the local book store. I have done a few out of them. Even turned one into a coffee table.

Very nice projects .
Did you draw them into designer and cut them with the cw , or did you use an original scrollsaw pattern and copy it into designer ?
I haven't figured out a way to tell the designer program to follow the lines of an imported copy of a pattern.
