I wanted to carve a small sign for a neighbor on a piece of old weathered Barn Wood.
Problem is, living in the city, there's not many old barns around,
and then I remembered the small sample of Western Red Cedar I used to show someone on the forum how to age or distress a board,
to appear old and weathered. As always one thing leads to another and I have the weathered looking board for my sign project.
Here are a few photos and the mpc file to go with it.
I guess the moral to the story is, if you don't have it or can't find it, try making it yourself.
