First of all thanks for the replies to assist me. CW is fedexing me a new card and a reader. Michelle really is great to work with. However, has anyone taken their chuck out to clean it ? I have oiled it, WD40'd it, and still seems to stick in either up or down. What is the normal travel distance for the collar ? I am adimate about proving my spouse wrong and keeping this machine. BTW, sometimes it helps to make sure the Allen screws are tight on the collar of the bits. That mistake cost me $40 as the bit flew out and shattered.
